Fish
We have made the difficult decision to NOT sell fish for the 2023 season.
Thank you for thinking of us.
Fish Food
If fish are fed regularly at the edge of the pool they will become tame and approach visitors, adding a touch of life and increasing the attractiveness of the water garden. Feed Spring & Fall food when water temperatures are between 10C, 50F and 15C, 60F. DO NOT OVERFEED
Fish Medication
Prevention of Fish Ailments
Good water quality is essential for having happy and healthy pond fish. This is achieved by doing regular partial water changes especially in spring, avoiding overfeeding, and using extreme care when applying any pesticides or herbicides to the lawn and garden. Large fish populations may benefit from the addition of a biofilter system. Ideally, new fish should be quarantined before adding to the pond.

Scavengers
Snails will feed on algae on the sides of the pond and pots. Melanthos are often seen feeding across the surface of the water. Snails do not clear green water. Snails will usually overwinter in the pond.
NOTE: Due to government regulations Trapdoor Snails are no longer available.
Scavengers available April 1 - Sept 30th
